Department of Dining Services
Friends Home in Kennett, a senior living community in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, is seeking a part-time server (less than 20 hours per week) for its Dining Services department. Positions available include eight hours/day every other weekend shifts and/or 2.5-hour weeknight shifts.
Our small, home-like facility is considering applicants who are resident-centered and who value being part of a close-knit work family. This is a perfect first job for teenagers!

Requirements:

- Availability weeknights and every other weekend
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully to residents and fellow staff members
- Ability to sweep and mop floors
- Ability to handle food, glassware, china, and flatware in keeping with sanitation standards
- Ability to follow instructions and guidelines such as are found in the diet manual
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to work evening shifts (4:30p – 7:00p) and weekend shifts
- Willingness to take direction
- Ability to perform tasks in accordance with the PA Department of Health and Human Services regulations
- Ability to perform tasks in accordance with Friends Home in Kennett/Linden Hall policies and procedures
- Good listening skills
- Kindness, compassion, and patience
- Dedication to resident care and desire to have a positive impact in the lives of our residents

Kennett Square, PA 19348. Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
