Supportive Independent Living

For persons who choose the convenience of living in the historic main building, our “supportive care” approach offers assistance when needed but honors our residents’ independence.  Prospective Supportive Independent Living residents will have a medical and cognitive screening.  Persons having no care needs may be perfect candidates for Supportive Independent Living.

Supportive Independent Living residents enjoy all the amenities of Friends Home including all meals, housekeeping and laundry; all rooms are cable-ready and have complimentary Wi-Fi.

Supportive Independent Living residents live independently in the historic Main Building in any available apartment.

When more physical and/or memory care is needed, the apartment becomes a Personal Care unit at the current rate plus Level of Care charges.

There is a one-time community fee of $4,000. Friends Home welcomes long-term care insurance policies.
