Friends Home in Kennett, a senior living community in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania is seeking licensed Certified Nursing Assistants to work in our Personal Care Home.

Full-time and part-time positions may be available, and free med tech training provided. Every other weekend required. Our small, home-like facility is considering applicants who are resident-centered and who value being part of a close-knit team.

RN Charge Nurse- Nights 

Friends Home in Kennett, a senior living community in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania is seeking  licensed RNs to work  overnight (11p – 7a) shifts, 3 nights/week.  This is a part-time position with the possibility of full-time hours in the future.  Our 20-bed skilled nursing facility offers a competitive starting salary and great working conditions in a small, home-like setting. Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for the coordination and supervision of nursing staff during your assigned shift to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and evaluate clinical needs to develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate admissions and discharge planning
• Respond promptly to emergency situations.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure with active state registration; prior experience in long-term care settings preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing CNAs.
• Strong clinical skills.
• Ability to follow Department of Health guidelines as well as Friends Home in Kennett policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and listening skills coupled with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and residents from varied backgrounds.
• CPR/BLS
