Independent Living

The seven one-bedroom apartments in the adjacent Jackson and Walton buildings give the comfort of living on the Friends Home campus yet provide the true independent living experience. Equipped with kitchenettes or full kitchens, residents are welcome to join in all activities, meals (one meal included) and the support of our emergency call system.

Benefits and services that Friends Home residents enjoy:

  • Private entrances
  • One-bedroom apartments with full bath and kitchens or kitchenettes
  • Affordability, with no large upfront buy-in and reasonable monthly fees
  • Fresh home cooked meals (one meal included, meal plans available), housekeeping and laundry service
  • Emergency call system in every apartment

Monthly fees for Independent Living vary from $2,480 – $2,600 depending on the size of the apartment. There is a one-time community fee of $4,000. Friends Home welcomes long-term care insurance policies.
